ᰔ Hi girlies! Spring semester is almost done and I think we aren't okay

The newsletter for the girlies with college and career advice!

ᰔ ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ Hi girlies!

First of all, I just want to check in—are you all doing okay? Midterms, tests, college acceptance letter, rejections, exams, mid-semester grades (or whatever you call them)… whether you’re in college or high school, I hope you're hanging in there.

I just got my midterm grade back and… I’m not gonna lie, I got a 60%. Yup. I literally dropped from an A to a B, and at this point I’m like ugh... it is what it is.

When I saw my grade, I started wondering—do other people go through this too? Like how stressed are we really during this time?? So I decided to put together a “College & High School Bingo” and asked you all to share what you're going through too. Results a little bit down.

On the other hand, the Girls on Campus scholarship deadline (March 30th) is approaching, and I know a lot of you have been asking when we’ll review the applications. It will take about a month, so we’re aiming to announce the winner around April 30th-May 5th.

Let’s just meet :)Are you in San Francisco? let’s network together

We launched a bingo posted on our IG, and here’s what the girls scratch off!₊˚⊹♡🧸ྀི‎♡‧₊˚

Making this was so fun (based on my own experience lol) but like… are we okay?? 😭

Advice Column 💌

For some reason, I always felt like the law of attraction was kinda cringe. I know it sounds bad, but I just didn’t believe in it. Deep down, I think it was because I couldn’t really imagine things just working out for me. I wasn’t raised to think that way, so the idea that you could just “think positive” and attract things felt… fake. But over time, I found something that made way more sense to me: self-concept. Self-concept is basically the story you believe about yourself. It’s how you see yourself, what you expect from life, and what you think you deserve. And the crazy part? That story is shaping your reality—whether you realize it or not. It’s not about being delusional or fake positive. It’s about choosing to believe in a version of yourself that’s confident, capable, and worthy, even when things around you feel uncertain.

Recently, I got an email saying my school was suspending my Canvas account because I hadn’t paid my tuition (Canvas is how you turn in assignments, check grades, basically survive school). And yeah… they really suspended it.

I owe $6,000 and had no idea what to do. But I made a decision that I was going to make $5,000—somehow. Even if it sounded unrealistic. I started selling my stuff, listed my desktop computer, even my 7 yr old Hyundai car. I started believing it was possible, and things slowly started shifting. I got an offer to promote a product, sold a few items, and so far, I’ve made $1,000. That might not be everything, but it’s proof that when you move with belief, doors open.

This is what appears when I try to log in.. I told my teachers about it and they have been nice allowing me to submit my assignments through email.

If you want to start practicing self-concept, it doesn’t have to be deep. Start by watching how you talk to yourself. Pay attention to the story you repeat in your head every day. Is it helping you or holding you back? Then slowly start changing it. Say things like “I always find a way” or “I’m figuring it out” instead of “I’m stuck” or “I can’t do this.” Take small actions that align with the version of you you’re becoming—even if it’s just one tiny move a day.

And if you need to be a little delusional to believe in yourself before the results show up?

So be it. Sometimes that’s exactly what it takes. You don’t need to fake confidence—you just need to believe that you’re the kind of person who figures it out.

And you are.
